Process: After researching man y images of 14 Ton That Dam, I realised that this building has an ancient architecture that very unique with a lot of handwriting on the wall, vintage decoration. Therefore, to retain the features and changing it towards urbanization world but still characterized Vietnam. I have decided to bring color into the building, leaving its becomes cheerful and more modern. Also, with the handwriting on the wall, I'll put it on the separate board for each shop with many different styles, arranged neatly over which color is still the stuff gets me focused. For me, color is very important, just adorn the apartment by the color of its appearance will be different, more cheerful and more attracting.

Story: After many years living far away Vietnam, LYNLYN returned to Ho Chi Minh City on one beautiful day in 2065. The city changed so much, the skyscrapers now dominate in the central area. She comes to find out where can retained the ancient of Saigon, Vietnam imprints of old or not, She remembered the apartment 14 Tôn Thất Đạm, it is a unique building with personality hidden away in the pocket of Saigon, it is a mix of Residents and business - shops, cafes and fashion. She wants to see a change of how this place after 50 years. Entering, color filled in her eyes, making this place become extraordinarily cheerful, she suddenly fears that they might be destroyed the stairs, or the architecture of the buildings becomes too modern that she cannot recognize anymore. However, the staircase is still there, it was embellished with different color and decoration. In the past, full of handwriting scribble of many shops, now they've put on the board more polite than before, but still keep the unique handwriting on the wall, which is what she likes best. When LYNLYN walked upstairs 1, the scenery is more different than she images, cleaner and modern as well. In front of each shop has its own robot which will welcome and serve customers, they are very smart, can speak and have emotions too. LYNLYN choose one coffee shop to enjoy one cup of Vietnam coffee and enjoying the view outside the window, everything happens inside a building huge pencill. She was very peaceful and feel so comfortable when she's back home and visit this place.

Character: In a futuristic urban world (I assume 2065), Vietnam will be changed a lot. To fit with the concept that I have built up and from what I imagined. The waiter/waitress will change into cute robots. Each shop will have a particular robot that greeting and serve the customers. The customers of this place will be teenagers/adults, who want to experiences in quaint, cozy and private place but unique while the city is growing towards urbanization. Hence, a scene of a teenager is sitting, drinking a coffee and looking through a window will create a peaceful setting, completely different with the busy city outside the window.

Environment: Some feature points of 14 Ton That Dam will be expressed in my assignment such as stairs, handwriting in the wall, windows, decoration of shops/coffee. Let's imagine, in 2065, only this unique building still retains the ancient architecture, that will be an inspiration to a lot of people coming here. In addition, to increase the element of surprise, as well as consistent with the concept of future urban world, in the last scene, when zoom out everything, people will see the many shops, architecture of 14 Ton That Dam will placed in a huge pencil. Because my concept about color and every direction boards in the apartments just use handwriting letter so crayons/pencil would be an appropriate choice for my concept.
